I was contacted by an old friend and client asking me to put the word out that a rifle I built for him some time ago is now for sale. It is one of only two 505's I have ever assembled.
It is assembled on a single Square Bridge, Hartmann and Weiss Right Hand 98 Magnum Mauser. I designed and then fit the an appropriate magazine assembly for the project as well as a Krieger barrel. All the other hardware is of my own design with the exception of the Recknagel barrel band sling swivel base.
The rifle has been used in the field as intended and functions perfectly. and is cosmetically in excellent condition. The rifle comes with the reloading dies, loading components and quite a bit of tailored ammunition.
The magazine holds 3 down and 1 in the chamber.
Loaded weight is just under 11 lbs.
Length of pull is 14 ".
The Bbt stock and comb height is designed for iron sight use with the appropriate cast off.
